Solon Merchant Capital Partners has completed its first minority co-investment in a secured loans portfolio with a combined outstanding balance of €390 million in Greek SME credit exposures alongside funds advised by LCM Partners, a leading European private credit investment firm with over 25 years of experience.
The portfolio comprises 862 loans to 169 borrower business groups (primarily in construction, real estate development, hospitality, manufacturing and energy sectors) secured by over 1,150 properties and originated by Alpha Bank. Seller is Lana Securitization S.à.r.l., a securitization special purpose entity.
Our local affiliated, licensed and regulated credit servicing platform Green Credit Services AEDADP (GCS), formerly named PFS / Mount Street Hellas, has been appointed to fully manage and service the loan portfolio.
This transaction represents our second loan portfolio deal and fifth investment overall for our Fund I, since its establishment in 2023.
